You know those kind of people who just invite you into their circle like you’ve been there all along? Kayley and Zach are those people. From the moment that we showed up at their hotel for getting ready, to when we left after the party turned up to 11 (seriously, the DJ made an announcement that that shit was about to get turned up), these two could not have been kinder to us, or more welcoming. Kayley and Zach was the first wedding that we ever shot at Separk Mansion, but we really really hope it’s not the last!
We didn’t have too much time to spend with Kayley while she was getting ready at her hotel, but what we can tell you is that her girls are her TRIBE. Throughout the whole day, there was such a feeling of family from Kayley’s girls. We stayed with Kayley until a bus picked her up, and we all went over to Separk Mansion to get their wedding kicked off! That was also the first time we got to meet Huck, their ADORABLE German Shepard, and see Zach for the first time day of.
Kayley’s bridesmaids gave her a bride book as a gift right after she had changed into her dress, which was essentially a sentimental memory book outlining how much she meant to each of them. Seriously, you could not even dream of a better support system from friends.
Separk Mansion has an amazing outdoor ceremony space for those who are able to have their wedding outdoors during good weather. We lucked out on Kayley and Zach’s wedding day with the weather – it was incredible outside.
Huck kicked off the ceremony by being the GOODEST boy and ring bearer. (Check out our tips here on including dogs on any shoot!) From there, a short but sweet ceremony later, they tied the knot!
To finish off the night, a wedding reception at Separk Mansion has a pretty incredible setup. For starters, the newleyweds had a hedge wall with a custom neon sign to announce them. They started off their wedding reception tame enough, with grandma even coming out onto the dance floor.
Then things took a turn.
The DJ announced that there would no longer be censored versions of songs, and Kayley and Zach burst out with a cash gun and started shooting money everywhere. WHAT. It was insane! To cap the night, a late night snack of Chic-Fil-A was catered in, and the couple got to have a private last dance. We’re so blessed to have clients like Kayley and Zach that can combine sentimental moments with family and friends with a KILLER party.
