It’s amazing to see how one fun workplace in a big city managed to bring so many people together and foster so many lasting friendships. Marisa and Connor were high school sweethearts that met while working at Pump It Up: a kids’ party place in Raleigh, NC. During their ceremony, the officiant asked for any guests who had ever worked at Pump It Up to raise their hands. MORE THAN HALF of the congregation raised their hands, including Jess!

The craziest part of Marisa and Connor’s wedding story however, actually occurred about a month before their wedding. On September 14th, Hurricane Florence made landfall near Wrightsville Beach, just 50+ miles southwest of their wedding venue. Unfortunately despite all preparation, the Harbor Light Guest House did not fair well through the storm. This left Marisa and Connor scrambling to find a new wedding venue and many new vendors with less than a month until their date. Miraculously, everything came together (a whole day early in fact!) and they brought in an amazing team of vendors that made their day absolutely perfect. Even the weather cooperated!

We are beyond thankful to Connor and Marisa for choosing us to capture their wedding day and for keeping us constantly up to date with all the changes. We could not have asked for a sweeter couple to work with and are thrilled to share their photos with you!
