Josh and Kara’s Carrigan Farm Wedding was our second time that we had been to the unique venue (the first time was actually attending a wedding) and we were PUMPED to shoot at this picturesque location. Leading up to the wedding day, however, the weather was looking super yucky, but we’ve heard that rain on a wedding day is good luck, and sometimes you just have to do the best you can with what you have. In this case, we were so thankful that Kara and Josh were such troopers and not only accepted the rain, but embraced it.
We started our day with a VERY early morning at an AirBnb where Kara got ready. It was raining when we got there and continued to do so all day – I don’t know the last time we saw so much steady rain! Once we got to Carrigan Farms, they were awesome and helped us out with a slew of white umbrellas to create an umbrella-covered processional. After a beautiful ceremony and some dancing, we asked Josh and Kara if they were game to do some rainy day portraits, and their personalities shined through. These two were ALL smiles all day despite the weather and that’s why we know they are a perfect match 🙂
