Hidden Hill, which is known for it’s spectacular sweeping views from the mountaintop, really lived up to it’s “hidden” name on Tim and James’ rainy wedding day. What started as rain turned into a fog so thick that we could barely see five feet in front of us most of the morning. Despite a few moments of torrential downpour (rain is lucky on your wedding day right?) the rain stopped before the ceremony and the clouds even dispersed so that we could glimpse a little bit of blue sky.

Ever since Tim and James’ engagement session up on Hawksbill mountain, we had been so excited to capture this day of celebration with all of their close-knit friends in one place. All of it came together with an incredible vendor team (listed below)! After an emotional ceremony and a fun little portrait session around the property, Tim and James RAN into Hidden Hill to a video matching Taylor Swift’s tour intro video, which TIM MADE HIMSELF. Epic.

Hidden Hill Wedding Ceremony

The rain held off *just* enough for Tim and James to have their wedding outdoors, complete with a sand ceremony and emotional vows.

Tornado Wedding Reception

This is where things got fun – during speeches, everyone’s phone started going off showing a tornado warning nearby, but most of us didn’t think anything of it. It started to rain outside, but luckily, Hidden Hill has a big overhang to keep people dry. Unfortunately for us, that doesn’t stop wind, so at some point during the night, one of our light stands actually fell over! We ended the night with some beautiful rainy portraits, and a last dance surrounded by phone flashlights. It couldn’t have been more perfect.
