Hannah and Ethan… man, these two are near and dear to our hearts. Ethan is a fantastic commercial videographer with his own company called The Animist, and Hannah is an ALLSTAR pastry chef with her own new company, Honeybear Bakeshop. We could wax poetic about her cookies, but that’s for another time. For NOW, we need to talk about Hannah and Ethan’s absolutely incredible 1932 Barn Wedding. If you haven’t seen their engagement shoot, you can check it out here!
Hannah and Ethan started the day surrounded by friends in 1932 Barn’s separate getting ready spaces. Pretty early in the day, Hannah delivered a gift to Ethan which was a SUPER cute shadow box filled with Google Maps snippits of milestones in their relationship, leaving the “future” category blank, for now (isn’t that so freaking sweet?).
To get ready for the ceremony, Hannah changed into her first dress – which was actually her mom’s dress. Having her mom there to help her out while she was getting dressed was such a special moment.
Hannah and Ethan decided to have their ceremony outside underneath a big tree with the sun setting behind them, and it was simply a perfect location for them. After a beautiful exchange of vows, they were married and Hannah changed into her second dress – a STUNNING light blue dress with a gorgeous train.
After taking some INSANE sunset photos out near the fields, it was time to party! The 1932 Barn features a huge reception space for emotional parent dances, and plenty of open dance floor after. We didn’t end up sticking around for a lot of dancing, but we finished the night with a killer silhouette of Hannah and Ethan against the lights on the 1932 Barn. We hope you love these images as much as we do!
