Mollie and Becky incorporated so many unique elements into their Lenny Boy Brewery wedding which was perfectly representative of their vibrant personalities and playful energy. We first met up with these two brides for drinks at Optimist Hall and immediately bonded over a shared love of board games. We already knew we vibe with them, but they sold us on wanting to shoot their wedding when they revealed that they planned to have a board game table for people who didn’t want to dance. How inclusive, thoughtful, and fun! In addition to sticking by their side through the wedding planning process, we also made sure to have a game night or two with these two lovely ladies before the big day.

Capturing Details at the Grand Bohemian

Hair and makeup was done offsite for this wedding, so when we arrived at the Grand Bohemian Hotel on Mollie and Becky’s wedding day, we had a great opportunity to really capture all the unique details they had picked out for their Lenny Boy Brewery wedding. In addition to the usual jewelry and accessories, they had also provided fabric samples that matched their wedding day outfits and the ribbons that they would later use for their hand-fasting ceremony at Lenny Boy. We also got the chance to see their talented florist, Narcisse, help them style their wearables!

Pre-Brewery First Look

Despite getting ready in the same hotel room, we coordinated with Kayla, their awesome planner, to make sure that Mollie and Becky did not see each other’s outfits until their first look. All dressed up in their unique matching Ofuure attire, these two shared the cutest first look with the BEST reactions!

Unique Ceremony in the Round at Lenny Boy

We’ve only ever worked one other wedding that had a ceremony in the round, but we love this unique idea because there aren’t “sides” and all guests get a good view. Mollie and Becky’s ceremony included a lot of audience participation including a few speakers, the passing and blessing of the rings, and a hand-fasting ceremony where multiple guests of honor placed ribbons over the couple’s hands. After the ceremony, we took a quick field trip down to the Rail Trail in South End to take some super fun wedding day portraits.

A Wedding Reception at Lenny Boy Brewery

Lenny Boy Brewing Co. has a great space to host a wedding reception! Griffith Hall is their 6,000 sq ft private event space attached to their taproom. That gave Mollie and Becky plenty of space for a dancefloor, the Sabor buffet line, a popsicle cart, and multiple game tables! It was such a fun night!
