We did our first ever styled shoot at the Triple C Barrel Room back in summer 2017 and it was that experience that led us to the unforgettable day that we met Katie and Olivia. They had already chosen the Barrel Room for their wedding venue, had seen our work there, and were very excited to meet with us. Little did we know that they would become some of our biggest fans and more than that – our good friends. We probably sat and talked for two hours that night and they barely waited 30 minutes after getting home before emailing us that they wanted to book us!

Their November wedding was full of little personal touches that made this day so perfect and emotional. Katie and Olivia both exchanged letters before the ceremony that also happened to include gifts. Olivia gave Katie a beautiful sapphire ring that just happened to match her wedding jewelry perfectly and Katie gifted Olivia another photography session with us! (We plan to take them up to the Blue Ridge Mountains for some post-wedding bridal portraits!). There were also a plethora of first-looks (Katie with her tribe, Olivia with her bridesmen, and Katie with her dad) and toasts that brought us to tears. Their wedding date also happened to be Veterans’ Day, so they took a few moments throughout the day to honor those who served around them. Last, but not least, they had a killer live band that kept the party rockin’ and rollin’ until the end of the night.

Katie and Olivia’s wedding was our last of 2018 and was the perfect way to end our wedding season. Since the very beginning, these ladies have been super trusting and supportive of our creative shots and have been an absolute blast to work with. Even though their wedding is over, we know it won’t be the last we see of them 😀
