Lauren and Jarret’s wedding at the Venues at Langtree was full of tears, but all happy ones! Lauren warned us that Jarret would be one to get emotional on the day and our groom did not disappoint. We also saw lots of heartfelt toast and sweet moments with family and friends throughout the day. The thing about Lauren and Jarret is that they are both incredibly sweet, caring people who are super down to earth, go-with-the-flow, and no-frills, which means that the overall “theme” or “feel” of the day was simply the love they share.

But, of course, their love cannot be mentioned without also bringing up their dog, Reedy. Reedy is a big part of their relationship and there was no question that he would be a big part of their wedding day as well. Lauren dressed Reedy up with an adorable tuxedo bandana and Reedy served as their ring bearer during the ceremony. While Reedy went home to nap during the reception, he was still there in spirit because his face was on every cookie and every cocktail stirrer. Getting Ready at the Mott House

One really nice feature of the Venues at Langtree is that there are multiple event spaces, which makes having your entire wedding day in one place super easy. Lauren and her girls got ready in the main Mott House and Jarret came through the back entrance later for final touches. They did not see each other before the ceremony, but they did exchange letters. Jarret was super “sweet” and included a packet of sugar with his letter in case Lauren’s blood sugar got too low and Lauren’s letter made him cry.

Ceremony at the Venues at Langtree Barn

Lauren and Jarret’s ceremony in the Barn was short and sweet, but very heartfelt. Lauren give him a little “pup”-talk beforehand and Reedy played his role admirably. After the ceremony, we snuck the newlyweds away for some sunset portraits and to give them a little time to enjoy each other’s company after all day apart. The Venues at Langtree offer an incredible variety of picturesque backdrops all within a short walk across their property. This means that we were able to get a large variety of photos in a relatively short period of time. Which was perfect, because after awhile, Jarret started dropping it low, so we knew it was time to go party at the reception! These two may look all sweet and romantic, but they’re really two silly best friends in love.

A Reception at the Pavilion

We hear a lot of wedding speeches and toasts, so it’s not too often that we find ourselves getting emotional too… but as we already mentioned, there were a lot of happy tears this day and how could you not? After some super emotional moments though, it was time to let loose a little. Lauren and Jarret kept things light by having a messy cake cutting followed by a packed dancefloor. Jarret showed off more of his skills and everyone had some serious fun with Hot Sauce Party Band!
