We have to thank our friend Jamie for introducing us to Laura and David, because holy cow their Harbour Club Charleston Wedding was an absolute dream to be a part of! From the moment that we arrived, Laura was the calmest and most thoughtful bride-to-be – constantly making sure that everybody else in the room was doing okay. The ladies got ready at the Harbour Club and the guys prepared just down the street at the HarbourView Inn right across from the Waterfront park! These two opted for no first look, but instead they wrote each other letters to exchange. <3<3<3

The Harbour club is a SUPER cool venue which includes not only the reception room, but also a rooftop ceremony space! Their ceremony was officiated by one of David’s friends since elementary school which made it very fun and personal. After they were married (WOO!) we took both of them down to Battery Park for a few pictures, and Laura surprised ALL of us by traversing the cobblestone Charleston terrain in her Jimmy Choos! She even had to tell everyone else to hustle and hurry up! God bless her.

When couples do a first look, you typically lose out on a secondary portrait session, so a great way to make this up is to have a private last dance while your guests set up your exit. Laura and David had a beautiful slow dance in an empty room and it was just perfect. To end the night, they had one of the very best cobblestone sparkler exits and rode off into the night in a rickshaw. We cannot overstate how much fun we had with these two, and we’re SO thankful that they had us document their wedding. Enjoy the images from the day!
