John and Shannon’s wedding was an amazing and fun-filled night that incorporated so many meaningful and personal details, making it truly and uniquely them. First of all, John made his and his groomsmen’s bow ties! Shannon, an avid runner and former UNCG track star, wore custom all-white Nike Huaraches sneakers donning their hashtag: #SignedSealedSanders. The couple also danced their first dance to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” and had a custom cupcake stand shaped like the track at UNCG! Although Shannon’s mom is no longer with us, they laid out a beautiful memorial for her and she was talked about so much that night, you could swear she was there. John and Shannon have a strong foundation of support, kindness, positivity, and having fun wherever they go and we wish them many happy years together as husband and wife!
