South End Charlotte is easily one of our favorite locations to shoot engagement sessions because there is everything from cool architecture, to colorful murals, to glimpses of the skyline, all within a small walkable area! After you check out Andrew and Erik’s photos, take a look back at Jackie and Pablo’s engagement session to see how we used some of the same locations, but in a very different way!

Erik and Andrew knew they wanted to start their session off at the well-known Confetti Hearts Wall and then wrap up with some sunset skyline views. In between, we wandered around the Atherton Mill area, catching some lovely golden hour light and chatting about everything from travel to music and their miniature goldendoodle, Mason.

In just a short time with Erik and Andrew, you can just feel the love and appreciation between them. While they may have different interests and hobbies (Erik: sports, Andrew: gaming), they compliment each other in personality and support each other in their individual activities. Their wedding will be non-traditional in that they will be getting ready together rather than doing a first look or seeing each other at the ceremony. We are so excited for all the fun we will get to have with these two on their wedding day this coming October at one of our favorite venues: Terrace at Cedar Hill!
