Ever since we moved to the north side of Charlotte, we’ve been dying to shoot at the nearby Camp North End. If you haven’t already heard of it, you should know that Camp North End is an old industrial campus located just north of uptown that was previously a Ford Model T factory and a missile assembly plant. Over the next few years there are BIG plans to transform the old buildings into shops, restaurants, offices, and apartments while still preserving the site’s history. For those who have already visited for Friday Nights at Camp North End: (live music, art, food, beer, etc.), you may be familiar with the iconic water tower, brightly colored murals, and large industrial buildings that would make a KILLER location for an engagement shoot.

And that’s where Jessica and Tyler come in… They met while working for the same small Motorsports company, hung out one evening a few months later, and stayed up talking until they closed the place down! For their engagement session, they knew they wanted a location that was a little bit funky, a little bit edgy, and had some cool industrial architecture. Camp North End was the perfect location and, despite the impending rain, we had a gorgeous sunset! We can’t wait to capture their wedding at 8.2.0. this fall!
