Wow… never in a million years did we expect that we would be asked to be guests on a podcast… but it happened and it was SO FREAKING COOL!!
So we’ve all heard about The Knot and Wedding Wire, but have you checked out Perfect Wedding Guide? It’s similar to those other two resources, but BETTER! Why you ask? Because the people behind Perfect Wedding Guide (PWG for short) actually care about what their couples want and need and not just about the profits they can make. Nothing against The Knot and Wedding Wire as a resource, but what most people don’t know is that those first many pages of those search results are PAID FOR. Yup, that’s right… anyone can pay to show up on page one. And while we love showing up in your search results, we believe that you should choose your vendors based on personality and fit, not on their marketing budget. PWG is focused on helping you get to know your wedding creatives! And that’s where the podcast comes in…
The PWG podcast is a series of interviews with local wedding professionals about everything from tips and inspiration for engaged couples, to insights to the wedding industry, to the values and mission that drive their business. And what we love is that these are honest, candid conversations. So when Bobbi Brinkman of the PWG podcast reached out to us about being on the podcast, we were beyond flattered and stoked to participate!
During our interview, we talk about how we work together as a husband and wife team, the origin of our business name, how we feel about LGBTQ weddings (spoiler: we’re all about it!), our favorite and least favorite parts of being wedding photographers, and more!
You can listen to our interview using the audio player below, OR you can find us on Apple Podcasts, or your preferred podcasting app. We’re episode 7!
